Physicochemical Characterization and Brix in Jersey Cow Colostrum in Tropical Conditions

The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional composition (fat, total protein, casein, defatted dry extract, solids and vitamin A), refractometry pH Jersey cow colostrum correlations between Brix degree constituents. Colostrum samples were collected from in fifth milking after calving. Samples identified refrigerated until analysis. Data subjected analysis variance a descriptive analysis, while differences milk compared by Duncan’s test (P < 0.05) using SAS version 9.0 software program. Pearson then performed grade bovine fat, solid percentage gradually decreased first milking, lactose content increased. Positive observed values extract contents, negatively correlated. rapid reduction means protein concentrations delivery demonstrates importance administer shortest period birth. © 2021 Friends Science Publishers
